Felt is awesome for homemade toys

I made my daughter felt books for my daughter when she was a toddler. I've also made felt puppets.
I use old magazines and newspapers for collage projects.
I also like that she will be able to keep these things when she gets older - I have a little bag my mom sewed for me (put my name and a cute design on it) when I was little and I cherish it!
