Cute, but a PAIN to put together

  • Difficult Setup
  • No mattress support

HOWEVER, it's a pain to put together...there are multiple types of screws that are hard to tell apart, and the parts don't line up very well. It took significantly longer, and was significantly harder than we expected.

The bed also does not come with a mattress support, so plan on buying one of those.

Much too expensive for an incomplete bed that is impossible to put together properly. Good thing my kid likes it....the next kid is getting a bed with a picture of Thomas, not one that looks like him.

Unique animal gift ideas for a 3-yr-old?

My nephew is turning 3, and is OBSESSED with animals. He really likes the figurines, and carries them everywhere. He has dozens. He's not into stuffed animals that much.
Anyone else have an animal-obsessed toddler and have a suggestions for an awesome (unique-ish) toy for an animal-obsessed boy? I'm looking to spend $30 or under. I'm also getting them a membership to the local zoo, but I wanted to give him something to open too, since it's hard to describe a membership to toddler. My kids are all older now, so I'm not familiar with current toddler animals toys.
